The word strength and its various forms is mentioned over 360 times in the Bible; strength is often linked to God’s power. Believers are to “be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power” (Ephesians 6:10). As Christ–followers it is Jesus who empowers us to accomplish God’s will: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” (Philippians 4:13) There is no other source that gives us the strength to endure and the courage to make a difference in this world.
